Terms of Service

fist — Receipt Scanner · Last updated: 24 August 2026 · Türkçe

These terms set out the conditions for using the fist — Receipt Scanner app and its web version. By using the app you accept them. How your personal data is handled is explained separately in the Privacy Policy and, for users in Türkiye, the Data Protection Notice.

In short

SECTION 1 — Who provides the service

The service is provided by the individual developer publishing under the name Omka Labs (a natural person), resident in Türkiye. The developer's name and contact details can be requested at fistdestek@gmail.com, which is also the address for support and notices.

SECTION 2 — What the service is

fist reads photos of receipts and invoices so you can record, categorise and report your spending. The service includes automatic reading, manual entry, budget tracking, spending analysis reports, a shared budget pool and export. Its scope and limits may change over time.

fist is not an accounting, tax or investment advisory service. The reports it produces are informational and do not replace an official filing, a bookkeeping record or the opinion of a qualified accountant.

SECTION 3 — Your account

SECTION 4 — Fees

The app is currently free, and the extended usage package called "Pro" is granted at no charge during the early-access period. There is no payment screen in the app, no card details are requested and no payment is collected.

If a paid period is introduced later, it will be announced in advance in the app and on this page, and continuing to use a feature that becomes paid will require your separate consent. If payment is introduced, it will run through the app store (Google Play / App Store), and refund and cancellation requests will follow that store's rules.

SECTION 5 — Usage limits

Use is subject to numeric limits tied to your plan (for example the monthly number of scans and reports on the free tier). These limits exist to manage the cost of the service and to prevent abuse; the current values are visible in the app and may be changed with reasonable notice.

SECTION 6 — Acceptable use

While using the app, you agree not to:

SECTION 7 — Accuracy of automatic reading

Receipt images are sent to an AI-based service so the details on them can be extracted. This reading can be wrong: amounts, dates, store names or line items may come out missing or incorrect. Checking every saved receipt and correcting it where necessary is the user's responsibility. For tax, accounting or warranty purposes, the original receipt governs.

SECTION 8 — Content and rights

The images you upload and the data you enter are yours. We process them solely to provide the service to you — to read, store and sync them across your devices and to produce the reports you ask for. We do not sell this content, do not use it for advertising and do not share it to train AI models.

The app itself — its interface, code, name, logo and artwork — belongs to the developer and is protected by copyright. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use it for as long as you comply with these terms.

SECTION 9 — Shared budget

When you join a shared budget pool, the amounts and categories of your receipts appear in the totals seen by the other members. Joining is optional and you may leave at any time; when you leave, your own receipts stay with you. Choosing whom you share an invite code with is up to you.

SECTION 10 — Availability

The service is provided "as is". It is not guaranteed to run without interruption or error; temporary pauses may occur due to maintenance, updates or outages at the third-party services we depend on (hosting and AI providers). If the service is to be discontinued entirely, notice will be given in the app and on this page a reasonable time in advance so that you can export your data.

SECTION 11 — Liability

We take reasonable care in backing up user data; even so, we recommend exporting records that matter to you as protection against data loss. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from a receipt that was read incorrectly, a budget goal that was missed, or the service being temporarily unavailable.

This section does not exclude or limit liability for intent or gross negligence, nor your rights under consumer protection law.

SECTION 12 — Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion). We may suspend or close an account in cases of clear breach of these terms, harm to the service or unlawful use; where possible we will give prior notice and time to export your data.

SECTION 13 — Changes

These terms may be updated; when they are, the date on this page changes. You will be informed in the app of any substantial change. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

SECTION 14 — Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer, your right to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court at your own place of residence, within the statutory monetary thresholds, is reserved.

SECTION 15 — Contact

For any question, notice or request: fistdestek@gmail.com. Frequently asked questions are answered on the Support page.
